Oat Cookies (Havrekakor)

The recipe should make around 28 cookies🍪.

Ingredients:

  • 200 g Butter

  • 85 g Sugar

  • 100 g Flour

  • 10 g Vanila Sugar

  • 7.5 g Sodium Bicarbonate

  • 150 g Oats

  • 100 g Raisins

Method:

  1. Preheat the oven to 175℃ (350℉).

  2. Mix the butter and sugar together.

  3. Mix together the flour, bicarbonate and the vanilla sugar, then pour in with the butter.

  4. Stir in the oats to the mixture, followed by the raisins.

  5. Once all mixed together, form into balls (~28) and place onto a plate with parchment paper. I would recommend to split the the amount in half (14 balls) and place onto 2 plates.

  6. Bake in the middle of your pre-heated oven at 175℃ (350℉) for about 13minutes. During the cooking process, the balls will flatten out.

  7. Once golden brown, they’re ready. Take them out and let them cool on a wire rack.
